Good morning! Did you survive Christmas Day, or are you nursing a holiday hangover—figuratively or literally? Boxing Day always seems like the perfect time to slow down and reflect, doesn’t it? For some, it’s about shopping deals or watching football, but for me, it’s about staying in the ring and fighting the good fight.
Speaking of boxing, let’s talk George Foreman—not just the grill guy, but the fighter who made an epic comeback. Foreman’s story reminds me of what Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 4:7, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” George didn’t give up after setbacks. Instead, he came back stronger, eventually winning the heavyweight title at 45. It’s a story of perseverance, redemption, and faith.
This resonates deeply with our mission at All-In Ministries. Like George, we’re all about staying in the fight—whether it’s helping veterans through Eagle Advocates or offering spiritual refuge at our 24-7 Church Online. Life’s battles can leave us battered, but faith and community can help us find the strength to press on.
Let’s face it: life can be a fight. Some days, it’s against physical struggles, financial stress, or the emotional toll of the holiday season. Other days, it’s a spiritual battle. But God equips us with what we need. In Ephesians 6:11, we’re reminded to “put on the full armor of God.” And what better time than Boxing Day to reflect on that armor—truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God?
So here’s the challenge: as we clean up the wrapping paper and put away the Christmas leftovers, let’s lace up our gloves and step back into the ring of life. Whether it’s through service, prayer, or simply encouraging someone who’s down, let’s fight the good fight together.
Remember, we’re in your corner—All-In Ministries, 24-7 Church Online, and Eagle Advocates. You’re not alone in this fight. Keep swinging, my friend!
