The Old Rancher woke up this morning still recovering from a night well spent. Counting down to midnight at Fire and Glory with Charlie Robinson at Rev Church was a soul-stirring experience—renewal, passion, and the fire of revival in the air. And if that wasn’t enough, the night carried on to Care-y-oke at the Lamplighter in San Diego, where the melodies may have been less angelic but no less heartfelt.

As I reflect, I’m reminded of Ecclesiastes 3:1: “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” Last night was a celebration of both the end of one season and the dawn of another. The community, laughter, and joy shared reminded me of the strength found in fellowship and the beauty of a life centered on God’s love.

With 2024 now in the rearview mirror, I hear the call of Isaiah 43:18-19: “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!” The fire of revival we experienced wasn’t meant to be contained in one night—it’s fuel for the journey ahead.

This is the year to be bold, to sow generously, and to reap with joy (2 Corinthians 9:6-7). The Old Rancher may have a few sore spots from last night’s adventures, but his heart is full, and his spirit is ready.

“Alive and Thriving in 2025.”
“2024 is out the door!”
