Thank You, Lord, for This Day

Thank You, Lord, for this day,
For breath, for light, for love’s warm ray.
For morning’s hush, for dawn’s embrace,
For mercy fresh, for boundless grace.

Thank You for the sky so wide,
For whispered winds and ocean’s tide.
For laughter shared, for tears made new,
For hearts that beat in trust of You.

Thank You for the trials near,
For strength to stand, for hope through fear.
For lessons learned, for burdens light,
For guiding stars in darkest night.

Thank You for the love You pour,
A grace that reaches evermore.
For hands to hold, for songs to sing,
For joy in every living thing.

Right here, right now, my soul takes flight,
In morning’s glow or evening’s light.
With all I am, my heart will say,
Thank You, Lord, for this day.
