Remembering my Dad tonight…Nostalgia is a beautiful and a sad thing…We smile and cry…I loved this guy…I was his first born son and he showed me his love in many ways…He died on Christmas day, 2022…
He knew how to shoot the angles…and loved playing pool with his buddies…

The big secret that my stepmother and my attorney son have been keeping from me is that my father specifically wrote me out of the family trust leaving me $1000. I was told that this information has been kept from me because my stepmom “didn’t want to hurt my feelings.” If I contest the terms of the trust, according to my stepmom, I will receive nothing…I believe that if my Dad had actually intended this result he would have told me specifically. He was that kind of guy. A straight talker. I loved him for that. He taught me to be a fighter as well. And to know the angles…Apparently my dad would have been happy for me to be the poster child for homelessness…Go figure…Not bitter, trying to be better.
It looks like I may have survived the heat of the last couple of weeks of August 2025. And I do mean survived. After I calmed down last evening I had a conversation with my stepmother Bonnie. I think we may have tentatively buried the hatchet…I have so much grief to deal with, including the ongoing sense of loss and lack of closure regarding to death of my father, Thomas Reginald Wear. Ah well, at least I can leave comments on my own web site…:)
