Three years ago I fell and hit my head. When I came to my senses some 5 months later I was not able to walk, was naked and penniless and could not lift more than a half pound. Medical professionals noticed my severe pain in my feet (bilateral neuropathy) and gave me a drug that also began to bring me back to my senses, Neurontin.
I later discovered that I had a lot of life-threatening things wrong with me physically as well as the mental illness that I have been living with most of my life. It was as though I went to sleep on August 9, 1969 and awakened in 2024 with the passage of 55 years. There were many times I cried myself to sleep. But then the Holy Spirit began to whisper and I began to have hope in recovery. I bled and was the victim of abuse and infection in a SNF. The system was messing with me.

On another note, a dear friend is in hospice care and will soon be with the Lord. Pray for her family and that they will have a special touch from the Comforter.
