9/25. Get it? 9 to 5.
Today is Give Like Dolly Day.
Dolly taught us a lot more than how to sing a country song. She showed us what it looks like to give, to laugh, to dream big, and to care about the kid who just needs a book and somebody who believes in them.
So on 9/25, while the rest of us are workin’ 9 to 5, maybe we can take a minute to Give Like Dolly.
Buy a kid a book.
Feed somebody.
Encourage somebody.
Give a few bucks.
Give a little grace.
You don’t have to be rich to be generous.
Maybe that’s part of what we’re trying to do with Green Zone America too: create a little more room for grace, dignity, kindness and hope.
